Silicone Oil Prices Drop Slightly this Week on Weak Demand

Silicone oil prices dropped slightly this week on weak downstream demand.

SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) - Silicone oil prices dropped slightly this week on weak downstream demand. According to SMM survey, some companies received poor domestic orders, and their export orders also decreased significantly. Regular product prices offered by the mainstream manufacturers were 18,500-19,000 yuan/mt, and the actual prices varied according to specific situation. In the short term, the downstream consumption has not improved significantly, and silicon oil prices remained stable with occasional falls.
